2025Video 8’, color
The video carries on an ongoing reflection on virtuality, artificiality of perception and narrative rhythm. In a flickering, hologram-like form, the hammer-set of a piano is projected in blown-up scale — as it fluctuates, it suggests the player-selection state of a videogame, occasionally bursting into abrupt movement over its own axis, only before going back to a quiet floating. The extremely digital patina and behaviour of the subject betray a performative production approach: the object was hung and filmed to move in choreographed ways, in an ongoing reflection over the physical affect of sound and music.
